Any recommendations for kid friendly places to do some top roping in the Grantown on Spey area or beyond? Heading up there this weekend with the family (5yrs + 8yrs).

Huntly's Cave is close by: not especially kid-friendly but there are a few easy routes. Better options at Kingussie Crag http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=390 , Duntelchaig Pinnacle http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=2705 or Cummingston http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=1196

Second vote for Cummingston, From memory, Primrose bay near Hopeman has an undocumented slab giving good Mod-Diff lines that might fit the bill.

Just checked the NE Outcrops guide, the Primrose bay slab is equipped with stakes to: "allow convenient top roping for youngsters or non athletic novices". Easy to combine with Cummingston which may be a bit sandy.
