The following is a recent message from Suffolk Trading Standards:

"Suffolk Trading Standards are issuing an urgent warning to anyone who has bought a Petzl Aspir climbing harness from eBay seller 'surplusandlost'. They should stop using it immediately and return it to the supplier. The harnesses were cut to prevent their re-sale, only to be recovered by a third party, and re-stitched. It is believed that they present a serious potential risk of death or serious injury."

This has already been discussed at length but no harm in posting again if anyone missed it.
