Experience triumphed over youth in a tense and exciting final.

Three men secured tickets for an Olympic return in Bern at the IFSC World Championships combined Boulder & Lead final on Saturday evening. Olympic bronze medallist Jakob Schubert (AUT) took his second gold of the Bern events after a close Boulder round with a confident Lead performance ahead of fellow Tokyo 2020 Olympians Colin Duffy (USA) and Tomoa Narasaki (JPN). GB Climbing's Toby Roberts came close in 5th, concluding a gutsy performance across the 12-day championships.
