Tom Peckitt has made the first ascent of a great looking boulder at Lord's Seat, Yorkshire. The Uncertainty Principle (8A+) is named in memory of Tom's late father.
"The Uncertainty Principle isn't my hardest first ascent but it is certainly one of my proudest; not only for the climbing and the stunning line but what I have overcome and experienced over the last year to get here..."
As I said before, well done Tom and great write up.
As an aside: It shows the general state of news reporting on here that the FA has do his own news report for it to appear. Would have been nice to have seen reports for the numerous other high-end UK boulder problems climbed in recent months reported on here too.
It's not so difficult: all the UKC reporters have to do is check Greg's excellent compilation of hard (>8A) first ascents, http://www.eliteukbinventory.blogspot.co.uk . The hard work has already been done!
