Hi

Anyone climbed Ben Lui recently? Wondered what conditions were like as I wanted to climb Central Gully

Thanks
In reply to DJ:

looking at the SAIS report I would personally steer clear

Snow-magedden. Just don't.

All the big gullies from generally East through North to generally West are bad, bad places to be until there's a substantial degree of thaw and re-freeze. Day out round the two ridges of Ben Lui might be your better choice, but I would expect some hard going in deep wet snow before you get up to the nice frozen stuff.

Even sticking to the ridges on Ben Lui in the current snow conditions would be purgatory and probably best avoided until things firm up a wee bit.
In reply to Joak:

I did it last week very early morning, taking a pal up his first winter
Route was hard going really a swim some big Avalanche debris in the basin
From all sides,Defo one to take care on
