In reply to lithos: Can see snow on Ben Ledi, Vorlich and the Stuc just now, would think the hills you mentioned will be well and truly plastered.

Glenshee snow gates are also closed ,so the east is also seeing a good dumping.

In reply to lithos: Yes there is currently snow from about 600m in the Southern Highlands, although I imagine much of it will melt today and tomorrow

Not much melting today, drove up from Edinburgh to Glencoe and it was chilly throughout, even in the sun. Lots of snow high up and a few skinny ribbons of ice (nothing climbable), but rock looked black.
