Started to rain as I finished the lead. Matt had to be hauled through the crux to save greasing off!

Been on wishlist for ages. Really chuffed to get up it. Climbed in one pitch on a single rope - quite a bit of rope drag on the arÍte. Supposed to be fairly exposed but had tunnel vision in the moves so didn't notice! Some really nasty loose blocks at the top easy section that could well have hit the belayer. We made sure it was safe below and Tim got rid of them. Hopefully it's mush safer now. Felt like a smooth climb. Really nice route rewarded with the best and most exclusive view!
JamesColeman - Lead O/S - 29/Aug/13 with Tim

Hidden - Lead O/S - 25/Aug/13

Good position. Some totterers as you get onto the ledge at the top!
AJM - Lead O/S - 19/Jul/13 with Matt Moore

As I didn't check the route description before setting off I decided that trying the overhang above the ledge was a good idea. So I go pumped on that and fell off. However the position on the arete was amazing. Really good route.

gb05 - Lead O/S - 19/Jun/13 with Paul Southgate

Amazing. The best thing I've ever done in my life, apart from having my boy and getting married. Its been on the wish list for 18 months but I've been waiting till me, and my climbing partner was good enough to not only enjoy it. But be safe with it. For me. The best route I've done so far, let alone at the yat. 3*** s for sure. ;-)

The exposer on the top hanging arÍte is excellent, first and best route of the day. Johny was not very happy at the start as he had forgot his climbing shoes, he climbing it in trainers nice

Bex_M - 2nd dog - 19/Jun/11 with Duncan Dunbar

Felt a bit flustered on this, partly cos of the threat of darkness. Tricky move round the corner above the cave. Great finish.

Andrew Abraham - 2nd - 16/May/11 with Clement Attwood

Intended to do the VS but had no guidebook and wasn't sure on the route so wandered round the wrong side of the arete onto the HVS where it split. Found it very steep and bold (was very short on gear towards the top) but lovely exposed climbing!

What a fantastic route! Blows Whitt out of the water! A much more logical line, and some fantastically airy positions. Should definitely get 3 stars.
