I'm sooo not a grit-stone climber! Made hard work of this climb. HVD (in Peaks guidebook) really shouldn't feel this hard!? Relies mainly on smearing up the slab. Had little confidence on foot placements and so laboured long on placing regular gear (cams size 2-4 required). Followed the left crack all the way to top. Excellent second by Reon! : )
