Style of Ascent - Badly! Slipped off on lead, ended up following! Was green as green can be... yuck! Still, if it was dry I can see how it could get the stars. Actually finished up the adjacent VS as the face was far too green and slippy to even contemplate!

A good route, but a dangerous sandbag at Severe. The gear on the lower wall is strenuous to place and the moves are a lot harder than 4a! Led in one pitch, finishing up the arete immediately right of the optional stance, which gave a few nice moves.

This is definatly not a S 4a and maybe harder even than HS 4b (compaired to 999) i had about 3 bits of deceint gear in and none for the crux. Its a great long route and constantly intereting and challanging. I would rate it VS 4b.infact in the new eastern grit its rated at VS 4c !! That's along way from S.

Haven't been leading at HS for long but found this a really frightening climb. Protection was very poor at a few points and having just led '999' (HS) before with absolutely no difficulty I think this climb should come with a 'fluttery and bold' warning!

Liked this - first multi-pitch (as such). Split it into two using massive ledge, probably wouldn't bother in the future. The beginning around the hook is tricky, top half very easy.
