Scary scary top crux section! Last bit of gear was a nut, a long way (5m?) below the crux / top-out. Committing final move. Possible gear placement on the top of the route but did not want to hang around to try to place it so just got on with it and topped out asap! Both hands on a left-hand flake with my body to the right hand side. Right foot on the face on a smear, pulled up, reached for the top lip and pulled myself over the top. Very fluttery. The fall would have been very nasty at that point and it wasn't a move I could really reverse either! I did put a nut in on the very very far left side (next to the descent) on a mossy ledge with a 120cm sling and x2 60cm slingdraws to bring it back to the face of the climb and reduce the rope drag. It had a good sideways constriction in the rock and made my head happier as it was higher than my nut and something else in the rock at least. Still didn't protect me on the crux though.

Awsome climb that improves in quality as you get higher. Quite bold on the top moves but the holds improve as you leave the gear behind. Definately wouldn't want to fluff the finishing moves or you'd be in A & E I reckon as there is a large ledge you'd hit, but by that time it's more like 4a climbing. Top end VS at the top about S up to there.
