Seepage on first 3 pitches added to challenge. Went up pinnacle on 3rd pitch to avoid slime-fest in the gully. Confused by guidebook description of last pitch - couldn't find "good holds" anywhere so abbed off from Phantom Rib ab point.

Via the Direct Start. Pitch 2 was half wet, pitch 3 and 4 were rubbish and we scuttled sideways and abseiled off after that as Alistair had forgotten his trainers and didn't fancy the descent in rock boots. Generally not a great route.
