Led as one pitch, claimed an Imp off me just after the thread. Light drizzle before 2nd pitch and then drizzle for first half of climb for Nicki. Utterly bricked it when mantling off the layback, really wet and no holds. Just needed an arm and shoulder jam to calm the nerves. Also seemed to be some blood on the flake which was reassuring! Seemed a bit hard for 4c. Not ideal conditions so worth a repeat in fair weather. Brilliant climb and brilliant way to start the year.

What a fantastic climb. Fancied I could have led until I got to the layback at the flake - it was raining a little and the stone was slippy, but even dry that would have been a challenge. Will go back and lead the first pitch, at least, later this year. Brilliant start to climbing in 2012.

Excellent climb with lots of gear where you need it. In situ thread (black rope) seems to be in good condition as of 03/09/11. Minimal rope drag by clipping right rop for last couple of bits of gear before the thread and then using left rope for the layback at the top. Great moves in a wicked situation!

Lovely route, really enjoyed it. Not much polish either so gets my vote for better route than Vertigo. As for the grade, now either this was a very easy VS or my sport climbing has effected my trad climbing. I'm thinking after some of the routes at Tintern I've led that this was a piece of cake so maybe the sport climbing is paying off .. one way to find out, do the HVS variation next time :-)
