Rockfax Description
A more challenging alternative to the other trad climbs here, which goes up the steep face to the left of Via Olga. The bolts are sparse on the lower pitch.
Start left and below the prominent corner on a small shattered ledge.
1) VI-, 20m. Climb the steep pocketed wall above to a horizontal break. Continue direct on flakes, between two pale patches, to reach a belay on a larger flake, just below the orange rock.
2) V+, 20m. Move right then back left on featured rock, then follow flakes left again. Make a rising traverse left to reach the dark rock above, then climb back right to a hanging belay below the top of the corner on the right.
3) VI-, 25m. Climb right of the belay then continue direct, pulling through a small bulge on the horizontal break. Continue to reach a large scree ledge.
4) IV, 15m. Climb easier rock diagonally right to the summit. © Rockfax
