Starts far left of the retaining wall of the slabs. First section is the usual descent from the Idwal Slabs. Climb a slab and go up. Climb a gully between vegetated rock. Move right below Suicide Wall and climb a short chimney. Go up into the couloir and locate the breach of the cliff; a polished line rising up rightwards. Climb this (exposed) then some grooves to reach a cairned platform. From here follow the ridge up over short, steep walls separated by terraces to reach the start of Seniors' Ridge proper.
