Rockfax Description
Climb the deeply-recessed V-groove until forced to step right onto the rib at the level of the roof. Pull straight up into a thin crack just above and use this to reach easier ground. © Rockfax

Tricky move round the corner, in a nice position.

Took an upside-down whipper trying to stay to the right on the slab. Finished it the second time around as a second (to the left, much easier!)!

Lead this after Rach backed off Lancaster Flyby, which looks quite tricky for HVS.

Really nice route with thoughtful, careful footwork getting out of the corner. Watch out for a very large loose block at the top. You'll probably try to get a nut behind it, then realise the bottom bit is loose. When you set up your belay and accidentally stand on the top of it, you'll realise the whole block is loose!

Another good en. Feels pretty bold moving round corner out of groove but big holds thereafter.

Did the crux round onto the face and up a move, place protection but pumped and had to retreat right through Lancaster Flyby.

Tried to lead, but couldn't make the move out of corner. Bruce managed it very well though.
