Somehow only just spotted this comment so don't suppose you'll ever see my reply.
You're probably right, though in my defence I did get a pretty solid hex in the first break (that you can see in the picture). I was pretty short of cams and it made the next little bit of climbing a little less worrying. The route's probably better as a solo/highball anyway but I've not yet worked up the balls for that!

I appreciate this is also a late comment, but I am confused, I thought I had taken this photo, yet am sure I was the one holding the popes that proved, without a doubt, that the hex in the first break was sound.
