no thats the normal way to end the route. the direct line is way below you and much harder!!! looks very dry!

I based my comments on the SMC Scottish Winter Climbs (2008 edition)description of the route:
"...follow this past the 'fingers' to a col. A short hard wall (5) , but avoidable on the right or left, leads to the top.'
I wasn't talking about the Summer Direct route.
Yes it was dry; but that was good as the snow was 'pish'. I really enjoyed the route.

For me.. Great shot-you can argue about the route... pity about the percieved competition, good on ya mate....wish I was there
