Gosh, that tree is still there! But isn't this whole area of the crag meant to topple off soon (or is this an old photo?)

Climbed this yesterday, and Overhanging Bastion in July; we wanted these ticks before the top of the crag falls down so, after a careful geological survey, (i.e. A quick look at the crack and the tapes measuring the gap and some nervous laughter)decided that it's still got some life left in it.
Having survived and even enjoyed the experience, I can confidently report that having a couple of a couple of 12 stone idiots swinging about on it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever as to the stability of the top section.
My personal feeling, based on no science or technical nouse in this field, is that you would have to be pretty unlucky to be en-route when it goes; as it's hardly moved since the tapes were put in place several years ago.
