Named for Lakpa Rita Sherpa, the “Best Sardar in the Khumbu” and our chief mentor and gear tester. A legend in his own time, Lakpa Rita was the first Sherpa to climb the highest peaks on all seven continents. He also happens to be our toughest critic and gear tester.
