Started climbing 22nd June 2014 and became instantly hooked. I climb at the Castle in Stoke Newington 4 times a week. Climbing has already become the main factor in any decision I make. Haha! And still is (2/8/16)! Still stands (3/2/19)! Still true (18/7/21), obvs

Best Climbing Experience
Once upon a time in my head my best climbing experience was sending my first two 7as on the same morning with a good buddy at Malham Cove. I'd only been climbing 2 years and was still very knew to what climbing means - I was seduced by the prospect of being able to climb at the glorious Malham, and the thought of being able to climb 7a (and at Malham!) seemed like an unattainable dream. At the time it was all meaningful - especially the 7a threshold. Now I realise the most special part was the journey me and my buddy went on together to make it happen. Now I can onsite 7a and the idea of grades being meaningful has long left my radar which means I get a lot more out of climbing, and it means I climb better. My best climbing experiences now are the joy I share with others when climbing. Days out on the mountain trad, Spanish trips, trying hard sport, bouldering in the crispy chill. It's all good when the vibes are good. Recently my best experiences have been sharing some awesome lakes trad with my girlfriend Maria. So delightful!
