From a recent 8b boulder ascent to her support of the Rocklands Climbing School project that brings climbing to local kids in South Africa, Black Diamond ambassador, Kaddi Lehman is fully committed to climbing. We are giving you the chance to win the equipment she has been using during her most demanding boulder sessions, to her daily adventurer life.

This summer, Kaddi Lehman went to South Africa to re-explore the fascinating boulder area of the Rocklands. And it turned to be a special summer, sending her first 8b, Fragile Steps in the Fortress Sector of Rocklands. “In climbing, there is always something new, every boulder is different and no ascent is like the other. The variety of climbing keeps me always motivated”, says Kaddi.

Aside from her personal climbing project, she has helped develop the Rocklands Climbing School project. This organisation, founded and supported by the climbers Moritz Eisenlauer, Julia Einbeckser, Chris Kelk and Désiré Gird, helps local children access climbing, who are known as the Rockland Rangers”. “Their talent and enthusiasm for climbing is wonderful to see, and the project is also focused on helping to improve their social development. These kids come from disadvantaged communities, and they see the climbers as a source of inspiration.”

Kaddi has dedicated half of her life to climbing. “I like everything that is associated to climbing: being outside with my friends, traveling, meeting new people, getting to know other countries and cultures”, embodying what it means to #liveclimbrepeat.
