Arc’teryx is proud to announce the Lakeland Revival will be taking place for the fourth year running, beginning on the 29th April and ended on the 31st August. The aim of the revival is still simple, to revive the spirit of Lakeland climbing and encourage people to come and enjoy the climbing the Lakes has to offer.
This year Arc’teryx will be kicking off the Lakeland Revival with the ‘Big Mountain Weekend’ that will take place at the Sticklebarn, Langdale on the 29th & 30th April. It is a weekend for celebrating the climbing and mountains in the Lake District, and bringing together the community.
The Big Mountain Weekend will be based around 2 days of workshops ranging from scrambling, to multi pitch rock climbing and are open to complete beginners, intermediates and experienced climbers. The workshops will be run by the International School of Mountaineering & British Mountain Guides. The event aims to educate, share and improve the skills necessary for enjoying these beautiful places safely.
Saturday night will include a free BBQ for all participants, quiz and live music. Our partners DMM will also be on hand through out the weekend with demo gear and equipment advice. All ticket holders will also receive a free DMM Lakeland Revival carabiner.
More workshop details can be found HERE and tickets can be found HERE
