Built in mid-2014 by Climbing wall specialists King Kong Climbing Walls, the climbing centre represents the latest in climbing wall design and construction, including a rare indoor Ice wall and Caving system.

To complement these facilities, it also has a Café and Kids hard play allowing for an all-round family escape when the typical Cumbrian weather is Bad. In 2015 they expanded their facilities by taking over Planetfear and rebranded to KONG Adventure to encompass all that they provide and early 2016 launched their new Website and online shop: www.kongadventure.com.

Available 364 days of the year the Kong Adventure Ice wall is one of the centres greatest assets. Great to cool off in summer and always in condition during winter, it’s a great experience whether your new to the sport or an experienced ice climber.
