Overview
Cambridge Climbing Centre at Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre
The last route set of the WHOLE room took place APRIL 2024
Our state-of-the-art bouldering wall is located in the City of Cambridge, comprising of over 200m² climbing surface area and featuring a huge variety of angles and shapes, including a 40 degree overhanging barrel, arch and multi-faceted features. The Centre is also equipped with full training facilities which includes a campus board, pull up bar and finger boards. The existing sprayed concrete climbing wall has now been replaced by an Entre-Prises texture coated, multi-faceted, wood panelled 'Mozaik' climbing system that offers considerably much better route setting opportunities than before. This new section of wall has been equipped with 8 new top-rope anchors. The wall now has 1600 bolt-on holds and regular route-setting take place every 4 – 6 weeks, this will be headed up by some of the country's top route-setters. The Cambridge Climbing Centre provides climbers in the East of England with a modern, first rate facility in which to climb, train and have fun!
