Overview
27ft (8m in new money) of solid ice. Main features include 2 pillars, an overhang, gullies and a dry-tooling section. Mention when booking if you would like special routes set for your session and the staff will sort something out to suit your ability.Routes which can cater for the most basic of beginners right up to experienced climbers wanting to hone their techniques or get practice in for the season.
Instructed session include hire of all equipment as well as technique lessons from a qualified guide.

Would echo Max's comments. I went yesterday having not climbed at all for ages, and never on ice.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, great instruction. Kit hire was a doddle, and all included in the session price. I can't wait to get back, but will try and get some bouldering in before I do go, to get some strength into my arms.
Went accross yesterday for an hours instruction (total beginner to ice here) .. I'd recommend it to anyone! Fantastic facility, great friendly staff.. Good quality equipment and instruction.
Not the biggest space in the world, but plenty big enough!
Only let down for me was my lack of ability! Haha..
I'll be back in the near future, I can promise you that!
