Notes
A great bouldering wall with a friendly atmosphere and regular route resets. Varied walls allow them to set a lot of different, interesting problems. I go 4-5 times a week and they change the routes regularly enough that I don't get bored.

It has 2 bouldering walls, one for kids and one large one for adults plus there are 13 roped walls (without leading capabilities). They run clubs for kids throughout the week and weekends in the morning and evenings.

They also do birthday parties for adults and kids.

They even have a BBQ area for the summer. Highly Recommend!

After turning off Longlands Road (A1085) take the first left and follow the road around through the industrial estate, keep following the road as it goes behind some buildings at the back of the area (the turning isn't immediately obvious until you're closer, there's a small sign just behind it for Rock Antics) and you'll come to a second carpark where the wall is located.

We have used Rock Antics for some years now, firstly at Aycliffe Rec centre, then the one at RoF '59 which no longer exists and now this little gem in Middlesbrough. It is compact and great for both of us as its right on our doorstep from work. We tend to use it for gym workouts during the week in the winter and bad weather. Good top ropes of varying technicalities and lots of bouldering problems. The top ropes are not too high but enough there to give you a good workout. It's a very friendly local wall, there are kids clubs there and helpful staff. Great coffee served in mugs for when you have finished your workout! Long may Rock Antics exist!
