Overview

The Chapel is a private bouldering wall in Macclesfield run by its members as a non-profit co-operative. We are BMC-affiliated and members cover a wide range of grades.

This climbing wall does not have colour-coded lines, however, there are over 250 documented named and numbered problems.

We have:

5°, 10°, 30°, 45° boards, "The Barrel", 2024 Moonboard, with LEDS

Fingerboards - Metolius, Beastmaker 1000+2000, Lattice Triple rung, with pulleys.

A climbing-oriented gym - weights benches, free weights, TRX, gymnastic rings, etc
