Overview

A friendly and ethical club, committed to teaching and encouraging members at all levels in various climbing disciplines. As a university club, we run subsidised fortnightly weekend climbing trips around the UK during term-time, as well as at least one longer climbing trip abroad every winter. We also have two weekly club nights at Bouldershack on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6pm, come along and join us! We attend competitions around the country including BUCS and SWUCCS (South West Universitiy Climbing Competition Series), including our own SWUCCS round. Most of our members are from Southampton University, but our extensive network of 'olds' are a central part of the SUMC experience.
