The Derbyshire Pennine Club was formed in 1906 by Jimmy Puttrell "for the pursuit of Rock Climbing, Cave Exploration & Hill Walking".
These three activities remain at the heart of the club today.
Based in the Peak District (with our hut in Stoney Middleton), the club organises regular weekend meets to the Lakes, North Wales and Scotland as well.
During the summer months we climb every Wednesday evening on various crags within the Peak.
