Bryn Hafod was designed and built by members of The Mountain Club as a mountaineering hut. It is a stone built, two storey building and was opened in 1965. It has beds for 18 people in two dormitories (plus one of which is for the exclusive use of members), a large kitchen, common room, washroom with two basins and two showers, drying facilities and an entrance hall.
It is available BMC Affiliated clubs and selected schools and youth groups, by arrangement. Minimum booking is six persons. No dogs or other animals allowed.
