• Summer trad of varying grades on the bealach crags and the classic three star Cioch Nose (VD) . Diabeg is only a short drive around the coast to what UKC describes as: “These amazing crags of immaculate gneiss offer some of the best low-lying cragging in the NW Highlands. Three star classics include Proud Arete (HS) Route II (HVS), Black Streak (E1), The Pillar (E2), Northumberland Wall (E2) & Wall of Flame (E4)”. Sound tempting??
• Picturesque bouldering at the Kishorn boulders for some lower grades, or for something steeper there’s the ‘cave’ at Sand bay. The Torridon Celtic Jumble provides quality rock across a spread of grades and even more 3 star climbing on iconic problems such as: Squelch (f6c), Malcolm’s Arete (f7a+), The Mission (f7b), Spaceship Wall Lefthand (f6a) and Celtic Knot (f6b).
• Torridon Munros (Liathach, Beinn Eighe, Beinn Alligin) and others locally (Maol Chean Dearg, Sgorr Ruadh and Beinn Liath Mhor) provide equally superb challenges in summer and winter.
• Beinn Bhan, a Corbett and well renowned winter climbing venue with an unbelievable nine 3* winter test pieces amongst its inviting crags and gullies!
• Some high quality coasteering, sea kayaking and pier jumping opportunities for those who prefer a bit more moisture.
