Overview

Climb-Outside is a specialised provider of climbing instruction based in the Peak District. We deliver fun, personal and goal-orientated courses that give you all the skills to become an accomplished rock climber. We focus on the delivery of mainly traditional rock climbing skills as opposed to sport climbing skills. When we talk about traditional climbing, we are talking about placing protection and building belays yourself, rather than clipping in-situ bolts and in-situ anchor chains. We love ALL types of climbing, but we REALLY LOVE trad climbing!

All our courses are delivered in a friendly and supportive manner and will hopefully encourage you to take your next steps in outside-climbing!

At Climb-Outside, we see ourselves as a group of climbing professionals, rather than a bunch of instructors, because for us, climbing is a way of life. All of us are active and passionate climbers with years of experience in delivering safe, fun and goal-orientated climbing sessions, either in full-time employment in Outdoor Education Centers or working self-employed for a wide range of reputable companies up and down the country and abroad.

In our spare time, we continue to explore what’s out there (nationally and internationally), we like to push our grades a little and we all have made invaluable experiences in our climbing careers that we are able to pass on to our clients.

All instructors at Climb-Outside are fully qualified, first aid trained and insured.
