A5-format topo-style selected climbs guide to bolted multi-pitch climbs in Austria in the UIAA grades VI to VIII. With 56 climbs the selection can do no more than scratch the surface, and since the publication date of 1996 enormous numbers of new routes have been climbed in this area. Only two routes are included from the entire Wilder Kaiser, the section for the Hochkönig does not include a single route on the Hochkönig itself, and in the rest of the Berchtesgadener Alps only Untersberg is represented. As such it can't be recommended as an only guide to routes of this style and grade in Austria, but it might possibly useful for ideas to supplement other guides. Text in German.
