This starts on the halfway terrace of Central Wall and climbs the obvious turfy fault line to the right of the arete of Hamite . Belay as for the second pitch of Hamite which can be easily reached from the lower reaches of Africa Gully. Step right to the foot of the fault line and climb it by a succession of turfy ledges. An independant first pitch would make for a more complete outing maybe taking the chossy line past two saplings between the first pitches of Hamite and Serengeti? Never the less a very good pitch.
