Rockfax Description
A good combo of routes that offers a clean line up the face. Start at a narrow strip of clean rock between some dense sheets of ivy. Ascend the clean strip of rock via cracks and ledges to the prominent oak tree - HS 4b to this point. Move left to a corner and climb it and the bulge above to trees at the top of the crag. © Rockfax
Wye's it a trad classic (up to HVS)?

βeta: May be better to do in 2 pitches; I could feel the drag around the tree on the second pitch. Start of VS pitch is pushy- Even with brass I found it quite lacking until you get a sinker #2 nut a good few meters up. The abseil is a rope-eater too; may be better to walk off this one. | βeta?

βeta: The start of the second pitch is lacking in gear and has the hardest moves, there's space for some small brass until you get up around 3 metres and then it improves. Likely only the start warrants the grade.

βeta: One of the ledges on pitch one had a lot of ants on it. Be prepared to blow them away or move fast :) | βeta?
