330m, 10 pitches. The big buttress a long way right of the Quarzriss slab. Start from toe of buttress, up corners to good belay. Hard long wandering pitch to ledge. Line fairly obvious for 6 pitches. Move out rightwards on hard slabs and up to belay. One more pitch to finish. Traverse rightwards for some way to the "surprising" way down, you will either love it or curse it!
Take a few medium/large wires.

J. von Kanel, M Settler 1978

daveclarke5 23 Aug AltLd 2nd time up for me. Glad Stephen was around to lead pitch 9. Think there’s at least one more bolt on that pitch now.

wheelsucker 7 Jul, 2018 AltLd O/S Matt led pitches 1 - 4 & 9. I did 5 - 8 and 10. Went too far on the traverse pitch and went up the neighbouring route for a pitch at 6a. Great route. Took some large wires and cams.

LucaC 25 Aug, 2016 AltLd O/S Lead p1+2 together, and then even pitches. Some fun steep climbing and jams to counteract all the horrible slabs!! 3:20hrs. Ignore the plasir guidebook suggestion of taking wires, camalots .3-2 are a much better idea.

louby 30 Aug, 2015 2nd Backed off from p6? It got too hot! Can imagine it would be nice in the cool - one to go back for, 60m ropes might be handy to string some pitches together.

Chad123 24 Jul, 2013 AltLd O/S A great first route in the swiss alps. Second pitch was a tough warm up requiring thin moves above a bolt, and last two pitches were also quite bold. 3rd steep juggy pitch is probably best and make sure you find the correct descent path, we wandered around steep, loose slopes and eventually found it....about E1 5b, possibly E2...
