βeta: The crack traverse is generously protectable with cams throughout, however care must be taken in selecting the correct place to leave the crack and commit to the headwall above, as it's not that clear from the topo. The headwall is unprotectable, thus IMO it's rather spicy for VS. A couple of microcams are desirable before committing to the runout. Thankfully, the top-out is flat and mostly solid rock. | ||
