Not sure about the grade, squeezed in between easier climbs, never sure what to use, VS in the book and the way I did it

Tricky to grade such an eliminate, 2 routes in 1.IMO it's only high HVS if you strictly avoid the left hand side holds at start and later on. If you use them as i did to hold and place gear then i would say VS 5a. The same applies higher up, use the obvious large aretes and it's VS 4c. If you were to totally avoid all the decent holds the eliminate would seem like a bold HVS, but E1 is stretching it. A good route though, in that you will reach points where you can make it bold or safe!

Nice route, though probably overgraded...

If this is done as a non-eliminate then it's very good and about HS/ MVS. It's ridiculous to describe the eliminate line, which surely still can't be HVS!

A bit of an eliminate. Straight up the middle avoiding the tempting cracks at the side. Towards the top I avoided the big ledge on the left and the aretes on either side. Then it felt close to HVS.

Easiest HVS in the World.

Having just done this route again I think it definitely falls under the VS 5a bracket and is easy at that grade too.
