Great route but definitely not IV5 as in the guidebook, hard V6 on the day. The main difficulties in 4 pitches then moved together to the summit. Lots of powder so hard work and made the top easier ground pretty insecure. Great day out

My first time climbing on the Buachaile in winter. Had some complications getting to the start. The route itself took a good few hours too. I thought it was hard for the grade and quite sustained. The first chimney pitch, which Mike led, felt particularly hard, tech 7 perhaps. I imagine it would get easier if banked out a bit. There was significant amount of vertical swimming higher up which ate a lot of time I think. The light was fading as I was leading the the last pitch, and completely dark by the time we topped out. Beautiful windless night, felt so privileged to be there!

Warm conditions, last route of winter as it was raining on the top! By following day everything around Glen Coe was out of condition

Great climb, in good condition with turf well frozen. Something interesting on each pitch! On pyb course.

Great outing, seems to be overlooked. Long route, climbed in 6 pitches with interesting chimneys all the way. Last long pitch was hard and sustained. Easy descent - blue skies - perfection.
