furbrow 20 Aug, 2018 AltLd First 3 pitches are good technical slab climbing. The next 15 are rarely technical quality and involve some dross. But the route is a good way to get to a spectacular summit. Abseiling the route would be a nightmare: get as much info as you can about where to go to abseil one of the very steep routes on the south east face.

Rob84 15 Jul, 2017 Lead O/S Mel wasn't psyched so we bailed early - made it to the top of pitch 11/12. Great climbing up to there and looked amazing above. Sustained slab climbing but easy to go quick once you get into the style and very un-physical as it's all on the feet. Spaced bolts in places - can be supplemented with gear if needed but mostly fine without when you get in the zone.

MichelleOS 4 Oct, 2016 2nd dnf My first attempt at an alpine climb! Expected it to be well within my grade but longer than expected scree approach, and run out (brought cams as recommended by guidebook but nuts would have been super helpful) meant I backed off of any leads. Had to bail after 7 pitches to get down before dark. Dalmazzi hut seems to close from October onwards and no way in or functioning outdoor water tap off season

Ulgrid 25 Aug, 2016 AltLd An utterly fantastic route. Abbed down via Cristallina - very difficult to find but another group showed us the way.

Nic DW ?Jul, 2009 AltLd O/S A great route which deserves stars. Really enjoyed the climb up, decent via 17 pitch abseil with a number of issues- didn't expect to see the sun rise! An epic, but great (and safe), and a story.
