50m, 3 pitches. Deviates out right from the Original Route above the first belay, then finishes directly up the steep crack in the centre of the face. Easier and better, though not without its appropriate share of sand and birds.

Classic Far Northwest, Ultimate Scottish Rock, 100 More Classic British VS Climbs, Scottish 3 and 4 star multi-pitch routes, MIA logbook must haves!, Summer Trip 2014, Ultimate Sea Stack, UK Holiday Plans, EUMC - Must do climbs

βeta: Descent gully appallingly loose in the bottom third. Great belay ledges on VS route. Gear sparse on P1. Funky moves out of the belay at the start of P2. Hard (for mere mortals) final move out of the crack on P3.

ChuckMaurice 7 Jul 2nd A fantastic day out to celebrate The Dutchmans departure to pastures new. Eelco DJ and Andy Mac leads with myself wobbling up on second. Fulmars on route but out of range of the vomit. Swam across the channel easily -2hrs from low tide. Descent gully really loose at the bottom - put your lid on and go one at a time. For a well oiled operation it was about 8 hours car to car on foot. Bikes would reduce this somewhat.

markfairbank 17 May, 2017 AltLd O/S Led p1 and 3. Rock quality is poor but it's a 3* adventure. Swam over a few hours before low tide which meant we could get up and down and then swim back right at low tide. Windy but otherwise a decent day!

KRB 8 Jun, 2014 Lead O/S Rushed up there from Blackburn Saturday evening to catch the Sunday morning tide and supposed weather window. Rained on the approach which did not bode well, but then the sun came out whilst climbing and it turned into a cracking day. Excellent expedition and excellent setting, but the actual climbing and the rock itself lacked any real quality. A brilliant adventure though.
