βeta: I thought the gear on the crux step (just below mid height) isnt too bad - quite a few cam placements in the large blocks. Warthogs can be pretty useful too. The best and most defined route on the face I reckon. | βeta? | |

βeta: Just a note of warning, that finding this in grade 3 condition is pretty rare. Even if Mam Tor Gully is in good nick, this is likely to be a thin layer of snow on dry loose earth and loose rock. Grades of V 3, or V 4 have been suggested. Expect a loose solo. | βeta? | |
