180m. There is a small car park for a couple of cars near the road but it is a pleasant walk down the valley from Gavarnie. Take the path the other side of the river after the campsite (cross the bridge to the campsite but turn right instead of left into it).

The start of the VF is clearly marked with a big sign and route description. You can cross the small iron bridge from the road or if you arrived from the walk above you'll already be on the right side.

It has three sections of different grades. The first ascent and the descent are rated French PD, the middle section TD or TD+ if you take the direct route up the overhang (see photo of sign). Have rated it VF4A here but that's open for interpretation as I'm no expert on translating VF grading French to Italian.

The start is fairly easy and nice easy scrambling, it gets progressively harder as you go up but you are rewarded with a great spot for lunch and a fun wire bridge before a fairly quick descent.

The wire bridge is fantastic, just make sure you clip in to the wire above and one on the side, you'll need to reclip past the joins in the middle of the bridge so make sure it's your preferred hand you'll be using!

It is 400m long with 180m of ascent.
