40m. Most obvious chalked line on the right hand end of taipan. Belay from ledge above slabby boulder. Follow the diagonal flake across commiting slab to 1st bolt on rooflet. Follow spaced bolts on snaking line passed slopey crux, several funky rests and a big last move. Sensational.

Yes! First route on Taipan. Milked every single rest to the limit and felt ok surprisingly enough. Crux is significantly harder for the short (ie: me) cause you have to do about 5 extra moves, none of which are easy! This felt about 7b to me, a lot easier than Mr Joshua.

Probably around French 7b, not much - if at all - harder than Mr Joshua

Ramon Marin 17/Oct/13 Lead RP

Took me two goes, easier than Mr. Joshua, despite this getting a harder grade, easy 7b+, whereas Mr. Joshua is a nails 7b+ by international standards
