Tough and bold for the grade - though some nice climbing in parts.

curon 30/May/17 Lead dnf

Very windy with gusts, shouldn't have led this in a ski jacket which restricted my movement a little. Ended up escaping via the choosy gully to the right. Quite hard and bold for the grade, although the wind might be got have put me off.

Lead in spitting rain will reasonable friction, started bloody pissing down as Aiden seconded having a bit of an epic at the crux.

Very difficult for the grade. Went out left to the chock stone to avoid the crux. No protection on the upper right hand side.

mountainremedy 06/Apr/17 TR rpt

Repeated on top rope and stuck to the right arête, bold for the grade but good fun on the safety of a top rope!

At HS seemed to need a deviation to the left to a chockstone, up a bit then back. Other protection not good

Great location and stunning rock quality. Found the crux at half height and most of the protection on the right hand side

Definitely harder than Severe if you stick to right edge of slab

One awkward move at about half height, which is well protected with a big cam. It then slowly eases back but not much pro afterwards unless you move out left, stay right for the most fun !

Possibly slightly tough for the grade - and there aren't many routes here about which that can be said! Awkward at the crux if you stay right. The long run-outs promised by the guidebook don't exist!

Sandbag at the grade, quite a lot of 4b and not much gear.

Not sure if I climbed right line - about VS 5a
