600m. Ascend PG to the first waterfall pitch and avoid it by climbing the L wall for 20m; then descend diagonally back to the bed of the ghyll. Continue to the Bridge Rock avoiding the 2nd waterfall pitch by climbing the R wall.
Above the Bridge Rock fork R and scramble up Straight Ghyll for some 150m, on poor rock, to a small cave below a chockstone. This is climbed on the L for 20m. Good small holds will be found on the right wall.
Continue up the steep ghyll above for 30m and climb the arete on the L for 60m to the summit of Lingmell.
