16m.

Rockfax Description
16m. Mantel up the left-hand side of the front face, linking ledges, move right up to a slabby groove and climb this to a bigger ledge. The normal finish above the groove is the best finale though the original escape up the chimney away on the right (Blizzard Buttress) is not without interest and was a good effort for its day. © Rockfax

FA. Arthur Burns (Blizzard Buttress) 1927 Direct Finish, Joe Brown 1961

phardy 5 Sep, 2018 Lead G/U Basically a solo for the first few metres. Bold but easy and satisfying moves to start. Quite an exciting finish too. Down climbed from the first (rubbish?) cam to the start and give it a good tug to see if it would hold - therefore logged as GU.

GeorgiePorgie1 2 Sep, 2017 Lead O/S First third of the route is basically a solo as the wall is completely blank so quite an "exciting" start! Gets easier after that and has lots of good gear before the final exciting moves. Enjoyed it and defo a great finish of a brilliant day!
