N Side of Pic Midi to top of Petit Pic
Tricky approach, there are 3 sets of cairns: one for the normal route, one for the flammes de pierre and one going around the Ossau. Once the first one is left behind, try not to follow the last one and you should find the elusive cycle wheel.
The route can be done without climbing the gendarmes (AD-). The integral version with the climbing and downclimbing of the "flammes", including the bigger Main de Peyreget is graded D and can be a bit exposed.
The usual way down is by the normal route.
