βeta: Very strong crosswinds on the day I did it but otherwise good conditions. Ridge is very airy but I enjoyed it quite a lot. I most enjoyed the scrambling up after the ridge to the summit plateau, and also enjoyed the dowmclimb crux. A good first scramble for people who are okay with heights. | βeta? | |

βeta: Good foot and hand holds all the way along. Steap drops either side of the ridge. Snow at the far end of the ridge required crampons and ice axe to summit. | βeta? | |

βeta: Excellent day out, sun was out all day, breeze was just enough, festival atmosphere and stopping for slower people wasn't all too bad with the excellent views. The steeper climb up to Helvellyn from the end of Striding was very loose. | ||
