bonebag 31 Jan Solo An ascent of Grindsbrook Clough right branch (grade I) from Edale. Parked in Edale and walked to Grindsbrook Booth and then followed Grindsbrook Clough to the right branch just after Fox Holes at SK107873. Followed this branch and scrambled over snowed up rocks to the top of the clough where short icy steps reached the plateau edge at SK107877.

jamesnchlsn 3 Mar, 2018 Solo Unremarkable as a route but options to play on more technical traverses / tributaries either side. An interesting 6m of steep ice on right hand side just after entering left branch. Good ice to be had lower down before it thaws.

l21bjd 3 Mar, 2018 Solo Enjoyed this, following the sequence of shoulder-height iced steps (which could have all been avoided by keeping right, as would do in summer conditions to avoid getting wet).

Jake463 19 Jan, 2015 Solo Came down this way from the plateau for a bit of fun. A few awkward moves but otherwise ok.
